Back Story

Born as a direct result of the first 'Rona lockdown, Rabid Audio is a story of how one engineer got so utterly bored that he decided to embark on a journey to end all journeys. To partake in a project so frustratingly time consuming that, were it not for the strictest orders of Boris Johnson himself, he surely would have given up on it ...

At Rabid Audio, we're strong believers of doing simple things, properly, and having poured countless hours in to something that we've tweaked, cursed at and perfected, we'd like to offer our products to all those that are interested.

It's What's Inside That Counts

Compact and saturated in colour. All our PCBs are designed in-house, using only through-hole components for that glorious vintage easthetic.

As all our products are handmade and tested to order, our PCBs are designed to minimise the volume of loose wires in the enclosure, which reduces assembly time, making it cheaper for you.

Quality Components

We don't sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves.

From enclosures and connectors, right down to the capacitors and diodes, we like to build things once that will last a life time.

We also discourage the use of batteries where possible.
